Are sidewalks a new idea?????

So, mom and I ran out to the grocery store a few nights ago then picked up dinner at Pat's. Call me crazy but here I thought sidewalks were something that's been around for quite a while and that people were actually supposed to WALK on them! Apparently I'm in the wrong here. People are not just walking in the street, they're walking in the middle of the lane and and look at you like you're in the wrong. My favorite are the ones who are pushing their baby strollers down the middle of the lane and practically dare you to hit them. AND THAT'S IN THE DAYLIGHT!!!! Let's do it all at night dressed in black. Where has the world gone wrong?? Or is it me??
